- 1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
For the Green Frosting:
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups (240 g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Green food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then stir in the granulated sugar until well combined. Allow to cool slightly before whisking in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
