Ingredients
- Pasta shells: 250 grams (about 8 ounces)
- Canned tuna: One can (about 400 grams, drained)
- Cherry tomatoes: 200 grams (about 1 cup, halved)
- Red onion: One small, finely chopped
- Cucumber: One medium, diced
- Black olives: 100 grams (about 1/2 cup, sliced)
- Mayonnaise: 150 grams (about 2/3 cup)
- Lemon juice: Two tablespoons of freshly squeezed
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Prepare the vegetables: chop the red onion, dice the cucumber, halve the cherry tomatoes, and slice the black olives.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, drained tuna, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, and black olives.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad, mix gently, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
