Description
Thai Milk Tea Boba is a creamy, sweet, and chewy bubble tea made with strong Thai tea, condensed milk, and tapioca pearls. It’s a refreshing and fun beverage perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons Thai tea mix
- 600 g boiling water
- 6 tablespoons condensed milk
- 100 g tapioca pearls
- 25 g brown sugar
- Ice (as needed)
- 50 g heavy cream or half and half
- 1 tea sock
Instructions
- Place the Thai tea mix in a tea sock and pour 600 g boiling water over it. Let steep for 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea sock and squeeze out any remaining tea. Stir in condensed milk while warm, then chill the tea in the fridge.
- Boil water in a medium pot and add the tapioca pearls. Stir and cook uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Cover the pot, remove from heat, and let sit for another 15 minutes.
- Drain the pearls and stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Set aside.
- To assemble, place 100 g of sweetened tapioca pearls in a glass, fill with ice, pour in the chilled Thai tea, and top with heavy cream.
- Stir before drinking and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less condensed milk or brown sugar.
- Use coconut milk or almond milk for a dairy-free version.
- Serve immediately after assembling for best texture.
- Tapioca pearls are best when fresh and do not freeze well.
- Use a wide straw for easier sipping of the boba.
