- 3 tablespoons crushed freeze-dried strawberries
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar and 3 cups heavy cream. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until medium peaks form (about 3 minutes).
- Add mascarpone cheese and continue beating until smooth and creamy.
- In a shallow dish, mix remaining 3 cups heavy cream with triple sec until well combined.
- Dip each ladyfinger into the cream and liqueur mixture for about 30 seconds, then layer them evenly in a 13 x 9-inch dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Spread a generous layer of strawberry jam over the mascarpone layer.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
- Top with the remaining mascarpone mixture, smoothing it out evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow flavors to meld and dessert to set.
- Just before serving, sprinkle crushed freeze-dried strawberries on top for added flavor and presentation.
