Description
Strawberry Shortcake Truffles are creamy, bite-sized treats made with Golden Oreos, cream cheese, and strawberries, coated in white chocolate for a fun twist on the classic dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (15.5-ounce) package Golden Oreos, crushed
- 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup crushed dehydrated strawberries, plus more for garnish
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
Instructions
- Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine crushed Golden Oreos, softened cream cheese, crushed dehydrated strawberries, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Use a small cookie scoop to portion the mixture and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Freeze the truffle balls for about 10 minutes to firm up.
- In a medium bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and return to the parchment-lined sheet.
- Sprinkle with extra crushed strawberries while the chocolate is still wet.
- Freeze for another 10 minutes until the chocolate sets.
- Serve or store as desired.
Notes
- Use softened cream cheese for smoother mixing.
- Don’t overheat the chocolate to prevent seizing.
- Freezing before and after dipping helps truffles maintain shape.
- You can double-dip the truffles for a thicker chocolate coating.
