Description

A delightful dish combining tender pork ribs with a rich, sticky glaze made from honey, soy sauce, and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry.
  3. Remove the tough membrane from the back of the ribs if necessary.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Place the ribs in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover with another piece of foil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
  8. Remove the top layer of foil, brush the reserved marinade over the ribs, and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  9. Bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with the marinade every 5 minutes.
  10. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

  • For a spicier flavor, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
