Description

A delicious and customizable dish combining tender steak and crispy baby potatoes, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Steak: 1 lb (450 g) of sirloin or ribeye
  • Baby Potatoes: 1 lb (450 g)
  • Olive Oil: 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Fresh Rosemary: 2 tablespoons chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • Salt and Black Pepper: To taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly and cut larger ones in half. Boil in salted water for 10-15 minutes until fork-tender, then drain.
  2. Let the steak sit at room temperature for 15 minutes, then season with salt and black pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet and cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  3. Slice the rested steak against the grain and arrange crispy baby potatoes in serving bowls. Top with sliced steak and drizzle with skillet juices.
  4. Add optional toppings like cheese, fresh herbs, or sauces to enhance flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
  • Let the steak rest after cooking for tenderness.
  • Experiment with seasonings and toppings to customize your dish.
