  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (150 g) chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) white frosting
  • Candy eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan, then stir in the granulated sugar and let cool. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla.
  3. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, then combine with the wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
