Ingredients

  • Brown sugar: 3/4 cup (150 g), divided
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Rolled oats: 1 cup (90 g)
  • All-purpose flour: 1/2 cup (60 g)
  • Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup (115 g), melted
  • Salt: a pinch

Instructions

  1. Wash the cranberries and remove any damaged ones. Peel, core, and slice the pears.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cranberries, pears, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss gently.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, and remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish and top with the oat mixture.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
