Ingredients
- Fresh cranberries: 2 cups (about 200 g)
- Ripe pears: 4 medium, peeled, cored, and sliced
- Brown sugar: 3/4 cup (150 g), divided
- Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
- Ground nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon
- Rolled oats: 1 cup (90 g)
- All-purpose flour: 1/2 cup (60 g)
- Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup (115 g), melted
- Salt: a pinch
Instructions
- Wash the cranberries and remove any damaged ones. Peel, core, and slice the pears.
- In a large bowl, combine cranberries, pears, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss gently.
- In a separate bowl, mix oats, flour, and remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish and top with the oat mixture.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
