Description
A delightful dessert that combines chocolate, caramel, and peanut butter flavors in a creamy pie form, inspired by the beloved Snickers candy bar.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package (3.9 oz) chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk (for pudding)
- 1 cup whipped cream (plus extra for topping)
- 4–5 Snickers bars, chopped
- ¼ cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and mix until coated.
- Press the crumb mixture into a 9-inch pie pan and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Pour into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
- Fold whipped cream into the remaining chocolate pudding mixture and spread over the chocolate layer.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, add extra whipped cream on top and drizzle with caramel sauce.
Notes
- Ensure the crust is completely cool before adding the filling.
- Do not overmix the pudding to avoid a grainy texture.
- Allow sufficient chilling time for the layers to set properly.
- Use room temperature ingredients for better blending.
- Accurate measurements are crucial for the best results.
