Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- Whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon for the topping.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before cutting into squares.
