  • Black beans: Another can (15 oz or 425 g), drained and rinsed
  • Diced tomatoes: One can (28 oz or 800 g) with juice
  • Onion: 1 medium, diced
  • Bell pepper: 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Chili powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper: To taste
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by gathering everything you need and chopping the vegetables.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet with olive oil, then transfer it to the slow cooker.
  3. Sauté the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic in the same skillet for 3-5 minutes, then add to the slow cooker.
  4. Add the drained beans and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
