- Black beans: Another can (15 oz or 425 g), drained and rinsed
- Diced tomatoes: One can (28 oz or 800 g) with juice
- Onion: 1 medium, diced
- Bell pepper: 1 medium, diced
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Chili powder: 2 tablespoons
- Cumin: 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper: To taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by gathering everything you need and chopping the vegetables.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet with olive oil, then transfer it to the slow cooker.
- Sauté the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic in the same skillet for 3-5 minutes, then add to the slow cooker.
- Add the drained beans and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
