- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Salted caramel sauce: ½ cup (120 ml), plus extra for drizzling
- Sea salt: for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the tart crust by mixing flour, sugar, and salt, then adding butter until crumbly. Add ice water to form a dough, wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Make the salted caramel sauce by melting sugar, adding butter and cream, and mixing in sea salt.
- Toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the chilled dough, transfer to a tart pan, and poke holes in the bottom.
- Arrange apple slices in a spiral pattern over the crust.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until apples are tender and crust is golden.
- Drizzle with salted caramel sauce and sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
