Ingredients
- Fresh salmon: 1 lb (about 450 g), skinless and boneless
- Breadcrumbs: 1 cup (about 100 g)
- Green onions: 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Fresh dill: 2 tablespoons, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
- Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed
- Eggs: 2 large
- Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons (for frying)
Instructions
- Prepare the salmon by cooking it until fully cooked, then flake it into small pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon with breadcrumbs, green onions, dill, lemon juice, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter and 1 inch thick.
- Chill the patties in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
