Description
A refreshing and vibrant frozen cocktail made with ruby red grapefruit juice, tequila, pomegranate juice, and agave syrup, blended into a slushie for the perfect summer drink.
Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 lime wedge (for rimming)
- 4 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
- 4 oz tequila
- 2 oz light agave syrup
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 12 oz pomegranate juice
- Ice (as needed, about 1–2 cups)
- 2 ruby red grapefruit wedges (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix chili powder and kosher salt on a shallow plate. Rub the rims of two rocks glasses with a lime wedge, then dip into the chili-salt mixture to coat.
- In a blender, combine ruby red grapefruit juice, tequila, agave syrup, lime juice, and pomegranate juice.
- Add 1–2 cups of ice to the blender and blend on high speed until slushie consistency is achieved.
- Fill prepared glasses with a little extra ice if desired and pour in the blended slushie mixture.
- Garnish each glass with a ruby red grapefruit wedge and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly squeezed juices for the best flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less agave syrup.
- Chill glasses in advance for longer-lasting coldness.
- You can store leftovers in the freezer and re-blend before serving.
