  • Apples: 3 medium (about 600 g), peeled, cored, and sliced
  • Brown sugar: ¼ cup (50 g)
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon
  • Egg: 1, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough by combining flour and salt, then mixing in butter until coarse crumbs form. Add sage and ice water gradually until dough comes together. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
