- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and salt. Add the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan, ensuring it is evenly distributed and firmly packed.
- In another bowl, combine the raspberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Gently stir to combine.
- Spread the raspberry mixture evenly over the crust in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the top of the filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden and the filling bubbles. Keep an eye on it to avoid over-baking.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing them into squares or rectangles. For cleaner cuts, chill in the refrigerator before slicing.
