A vibrant and refreshing drink made with red wine and a mix of colorful fruits, perfect for warm weather and gatherings.
Ingredients
- Strawberries: 1 cup, sliced
- Oranges: 1 cup, sliced
- Kiwis: 2, peeled and sliced
- Blueberries: 1 cup
- Red Wine: 1 bottle (750ml)
- Orange Juice: 1 cup, freshly squeezed
- Pineapple Juice: 1 cup
- Lemon-Lime Soda: 1 cup
- Fresh Mint Leaves: for garnish
- Simple Syrup: optional, to taste
Instructions
- Wash all the fresh fruits thoroughly and slice the strawberries and oranges into thin rounds. Peel and slice the kiwis.
- In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Stir gently to mix.
- Add the sliced strawberries, oranges, kiwis, and blueberries to the pitcher. Stir gently and cover with plastic wrap or a lid. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Just before serving, add the lemon-lime soda to the pitcher and stir gently. Serve over ice in glasses, garnished with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- For a sweeter sangria, add simple syrup to taste.
- Feel free to experiment with seasonal fruits for variety.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to three days, but best enjoyed within 24 hours.
