Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking pan by greasing it.
- In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, then add vegetable oil and milk, mixing until smooth. Stir in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
- Transfer 1 1/2 cups of the pumpkin batter to a separate bowl and mix in cocoa powder until smooth.
- Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared pan, add dollops of the chocolate batter, and swirl gently with a knife. Pour the remaining pumpkin batter on top and swirl again lightly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
