- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
- 1 and 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, and orange juice; mix well.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes. Cover with foil halfway to prevent excess browning. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
