Description

Pumpkin Orange Zest Blondies are a delightful twist on traditional blondies, combining the rich flavor of pumpkin with zesty orange notes, making them a perfect treat for fall.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×9 inch (23×23 cm) baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, orange zest, vanilla extract, and eggs, whisking until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let the blondies cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • Use 100% pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
