- 1 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and sprinkle pecans on top.
- In a bowl, beat together granulated sugar and eggs.
- Add milk and vanilla to the mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Pour the cake batter over the pecans in the baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
