Description
A delicious pecan pie bread pudding that combines the flavors of traditional pecan pie with bread pudding.
Ingredients

- 4 cups of cubed bread
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup of corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, milk, and cream. Let it soak for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla, corn syrup, and salt until smooth.
- Mix the egg mixture into the soaked bread mixture.
- Add the chopped pecans and stir well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
