Ingredients
- Unsalted butter: 1 cup (226 grams), melted
- Brown sugar: 1 cup (200 grams), packed
- Eggs: 2 large
- All-purpose flour: 1 ½ cups (190 grams)
- Ground cardamom: 1 teaspoon
- Ripe pears: 2 medium, peeled and diced
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: ½ teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×9-inch (23×23 cm) baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, ground cardamom, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter and brown sugar, stirring until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Fold in the diced ripe pears.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the blondies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
