Ingredients
- All-purpose flour: 2 cups (240 grams)
- Ripe pears: 2 medium, peeled and finely chopped
- Ground cardamom: 1 teaspoon
- Granulated sugar: 3/4 cup (150 grams)
- Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
- Eggs: 2 large
- Milk: 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Butter: 1/4 cup (60 grams), melted
- Powdered sugar: for dusting
Instructions
- Peel and finely chop the ripe pears, then set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, ground cardamom, baking powder, and granulated sugar, and whisk together.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and melted butter, mixing until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, then fold in the chopped pears.
- Prepare a mini muffin tin and fill each cup about two-thirds full with the batter. Bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the donut holes cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
