- 120g unsalted butter, softened (1/2 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 50g milk (about 1/4 cup)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, ground almonds, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold in the pear slices, ensuring they are evenly distributed in the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
