Description
Oreo Blondies are a delicious twist on the classic brownie, combining buttery blondies with chunks of Oreo cookies for a sweet and chewy treat.

- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 10–12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies, ensuring even distribution.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out using the parchment paper and cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to avoid tough blondies.
- For a different flavor, use mint or peanut butter Oreos.
- For gluten-free, use a gluten-free flour blend.
- Vegan substitutes can be made with flax eggs and plant-based butter.
