Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake batter by beating eggs and sugar until thick and pale.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the egg mixture.
  3. Add orange zest, juice, and vanilla extract to the batter and mix gently.
  4. Pour the batter into a baking tray and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes.
  5. While the cake bakes, whip the cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
