Description
Nutella Swirled Blondies combine the chewy, buttery texture of blondies with rich Nutella swirls for a dessert that’s hard to resist.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Nutella, plus more for swirling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Dollop half of the Nutella on top and swirl with a knife. Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the blondies cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Avoid overmixing the batter to keep blondies soft.
- Use room temperature eggs for a smoother batter.
- If you don’t have parchment paper, greasing the pan will work as well.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top before baking.
- Store blondies in an airtight container for up to 3-5 days.
