Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Nutella, plus more for swirling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  6. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Dollop half of the Nutella on top and swirl with a knife. Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Let the blondies cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
