- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
- Press into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and peppermint extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add crushed peppermint candies and mix gently.
- Spread the mixture over the crust in the pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Garnish with additional crushed peppermint candies if desired.
Notes
- Use full-fat cream cheese for a richer flavor.
- Let the cheesecake sit in the fridge overnight for best results.
- Adjust peppermint extract to taste.
