  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk

For the lavender glaze, you will need:

  • 1 cup (120 g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon culinary lavender
  • A few drops of purple food coloring (optional)

For garnish:

  • Additional powdered sugar
  • Fresh lavender sprigs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease the madeleine pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and matcha powder.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy, then add melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gently.
