Ingredients

  • Rolled oats: 2 cups (about 180 g)
  • Pecans: 1 cup, chopped (about 100 g)
  • Maple syrup: 1/2 cup (about 120 ml)
  • Honey: 1/4 cup (about 60 ml)
  • Almond butter: 1/2 cup (about 120 g)
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon (about 5 ml)
  • Sea salt: 1/2 teaspoon (about 3 g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped pecans, and sea salt.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup, honey, almond butter, and vanilla extract. Heat until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it into an even layer.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes, then lift out and cool completely before cutting into bars.
