- Maple syrup: 1/2 cup (about 120 ml)
- Brown sugar: 1/2 cup (packed, about 100 g)
- Butter: 1/2 cup (1 stick, about 115 g), melted
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon (about 5 ml)
- Sea salt: 1/2 teaspoon (about 3 g)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir gently until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it firmly into the bottom.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Let it cool for about 10 minutes, then lift the bars out using the parchment overhang and cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares or bars.
