  • Baking powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon, plus extra for dusting
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt: 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Peel, core, and dice the ripe pears into small pieces and set aside.
