  • Baking powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Ground nutmeg: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Walnuts: 1/2 cup (chopped)
  • Cream cheese: 4 oz (113 g), softened
  • Powdered sugar: 1 cup (120 g)
  • Additional maple syrup: 2 tablespoons (30 ml)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients: brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and maple syrup.
