Description

A delicious low carb pizza casserole that combines all the flavors of pizza into a hearty dish, perfect for family dinners or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • Ground turkey: 1 lb (450 g)
  • Marinara sauce: 2 cups (480 ml)
  • Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups, shredded (about 200 g)
  • Bell peppers: 1 cup, diced
  • Onion: 1 medium, diced
  • Italian seasoning: 2 teaspoons
  • Black olives: 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Pepperoni: 1 cup, sliced
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté diced onions and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes. Add ground turkey, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned (7-10 minutes).
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the turkey mixture, half of the mozzarella cheese, black olives, and pepperoni.
  4. Pour the remaining turkey mixture over the cheese layer and top with the rest of the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and olives. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
