- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the meat.
- In a bowl, combine cooked lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Mix the meat sauce with the noodle mixture.
- Stuff each pepper with the filling.
- Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use turkey or chicken instead of beef.
- Add vegetables like spinach for extra nutrition.
