Ingredients
- Jello mix: 1 package (3 oz) in your choice of flavors
- Water: 1 cup of boiling water
- Gelatin: 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin
- Sugar: 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients and tools.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Jello mix with 1 cup of boiling water and stir until dissolved. In a separate bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat the bloomed gelatin in the microwave for 10-15 seconds until dissolved, then add it to the Jello mixture along with sugar and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Pour a thin layer of the mixture into a shallow dish and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until set.
- Repeat the process with different Jello flavors, adding layers and refrigerating each for 30 minutes until all layers are set.
- Once set, lift the Jello from the dish, slice into strips, and roll them up to create spirals. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
