- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded

Instructions
- Peel and thinly slice the sweet onions.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add onions, salt, and black pepper, and cook for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Add garlic and thyme in the last two minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Fold in caramelized onions, Gruyère cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until hot and bubbly.
