  • 1 cup fresh basil pesto
  • 1 pint (about 2 cups or 300 g) grape tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. If making homemade basil pesto, blend fresh basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil until smooth.
