  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 50 grams granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt, for garnish
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits until they resemble fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the biscuit mixture into a tart pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, combine chopped dark chocolate and heavy cream over low heat until melted and smooth.
  5. Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly, then whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture while whisking constantly.
  7. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled tart crust and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Let the tart cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Before serving, garnish with sea salt and chocolate shavings.
