- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped

- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb and ground beef.
- Add the minced garlic, chopped onion, dried oregano, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture onto a prepared baking sheet and form it into a loaf, about 2 inches thick.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the meat loaf and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45-55 minutes.
- Let the gyro meat rest for about 10 minutes, then slice into thin strips and serve in pita bread with toppings.
