Ingredients
- Ground turkey: 1 lb (450 g)
- Green cabbage: 4 cups, shredded
- Onion: 1 medium, diced
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Bell pepper: 1 medium, diced (any color)
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Fresh ginger: 1 tablespoon, grated
- Sesame oil: 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by washing and shredding the cabbage, dicing the onion and bell pepper, and mincing the garlic and grating the ginger.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it into smaller pieces, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in the minced garlic, diced bell pepper, and shredded cabbage, cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage wilts and becomes tender.
- Pour in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger, adding black pepper to taste. Stir well and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired, and serve warm.
