Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 lb (450 g)
- Cabbage: 4 cups, chopped (about half a medium head)
- Onion: 1 medium, diced
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Fresh ginger: 1 tablespoon, grated
- Sesame oil: 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
- Green onions: 2, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: chop cabbage, dice onion, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook ground beef with black pepper for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Drain excess fat and set cooked beef aside.
- Sauté diced onion in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and grated ginger for 1 minute.
- Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Return cooked ground beef to the skillet, add soy sauce and sesame oil, and stir well for 2-3 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve hot.

- Soak chopped cabbage in cold water for 10 minutes to remove bitterness.
