  • Cabbage: 4 cups, chopped (about half a medium head)
  • Onion: 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh ginger: 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Sesame oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper: to taste
  • Olive oil: 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
  • Green onions: 2, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: chop cabbage, dice onion, mince garlic, and grate ginger.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook ground beef with black pepper for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Drain excess fat and set cooked beef aside.
  4. Sauté diced onion in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and grated ginger for 1 minute.
  5. Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
