Ingredients
- Fresh salmon fillets: 4 pieces (about 6 oz each)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Lime juice: 1/4 cup (freshly squeezed)
- Butter: 1/2 cup (1 stick)
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: to taste

Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by combining minced garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Marinate the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag for at least 30 minutes.
- Make the garlic lime butter by melting butter in a saucepan, adding minced garlic, and cooking until fragrant.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the salmon skin-side down for 4-6 minutes, then flip and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Brush the salmon with garlic lime butter during the last minute of grilling, then serve garnished with lime zest and herbs.
