- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- In a pot, boil water and blanch the green beans for 3 minutes.
- Drain and transfer the beans to an ice bath to stop cooking.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Add green beans to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm.
