Description

A homemade granola bar is a delicious and nutritious snack made from wholesome ingredients, allowing you to control what goes into them.


Ingredients

  • Rolled oats: 2 cups
  • Honey: 1/2 cup
  • Almond butter: 1/2 cup
  • Mixed nuts: 1 cup (chopped)
  • Dried fruits: 1 cup (chopped)
  • Chia seeds: 1/4 cup
  • Sea salt: 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped mixed nuts, dried fruits, chia seeds, and sea salt.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, mix honey and almond butter until smooth.
  4. Pour the warm honey and almond butter mixture over the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift it out and cool completely before cutting into bars.
