Description
Gluten-free brownies are fudgy, rich, and easy to make with simple ingredients. Perfect for those avoiding gluten, they make a delicious dessert or snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (65g) gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) gluten-free chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine melted butter and vegetable oil, then add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing well. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, replace the butter with coconut oil.
- For a healthier option, swap granulated sugar for coconut sugar.
- Almond flour can be used instead of gluten-free all-purpose flour for a unique flavor.
- To make them vegan, substitute the eggs with flax eggs or applesauce.
