Description
Ghoulish Ghost Bark is a delightful and spooky treat that combines the sweetness of chocolate with fun Halloween-themed decorations. This easy-to-make dessert features a marbled design of white and dark chocolate, resembling ghostly figures.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz white chocolate chips
- 8 oz dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup candy eyes
- 1 cup gummy bats
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
- Sea salt (optional)
- Other spooky candies (optional)
Instructions
- Start by melting the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips with coconut oil if using. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Repeat for dark chocolate in a separate bowl.
- Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into a flat, irregular shape.
- Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the white chocolate in a random pattern.
- Using a toothpick or skewer, gently swirl the dark chocolate into the white chocolate to create a marbled effect.
- While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle the candy eyes and gummy bats over the surface and press them lightly into the chocolate.
- Allow the chocolate bark to cool at room temperature until it hardens, or refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Once set, remove from parchment paper and break into jagged pieces. Serve on a black plate with optional sea salt on top.
Notes
- Be careful not to overheat the chocolate.
- Avoid overmixing the chocolate when swirling.
- Press candy decorations into the melted chocolate to ensure they stick.
