Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread by cutting it into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Mix the egg mixture in a large bowl with eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup.
  3. Assemble the French toast bake in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish with bread cubes and pour the egg mixture over them.
  4. Bake covered with foil at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
